Found out that Por15 is a damn process. First metal clean, then wash with water. I dont know about you, but washing parts that are attached to the truck thats in the garage when its 30 degrees outside with water, is difficult....

Oh, and i splashed some por15 on my face to. THAT was fun.. Made panic to wipe it off...

por15 is the sh*t. Definately do not get on your skin.

I finished wiring a 72 with an ls1/4l60e yesterday. Got some shopping done today.

Just made a list of what I want to get done on the truck over the break. Tomorrow I'm gonna try and finalize my alarm setup.

Re: What did you get done? 12/16

Took the driver side rotor/hub off the dually yesterday, cleaned the bearings out and repacked 'em and got it put back together. The weather got too dang cold and windy to get the other side done. Had to re-do the wiring for the trailer brake controller and trailer connector in the bed, finally got that finished too. All I have left is to re-pack the passenger side wheel bearings, rebuild the power steering pump, and replace the ball joints then I can start driving the beast!

Re: What did you get done? 12/16

Got the heater working on my 83. Put in a new (junkyard) heater fan and hooked up the vacuum line to get the duct flaps working. I didn't know about that. My bro-in-law showed me the line. It's nice and warm now. I also scored a hood ornament from the junkyard and put that on. I primed the red door and the blue fender with black primer. Whenever I remember, I'll take and post some updated pics...

Re: What did you get done? 12/16

spent saturday collecting money from the arehole that got my van, he still owes me $100 doubt I'll ever see it. spent a couple hours putting rear pads a front CV shaft and doing an oil change on my sisters subaru and getting sick in the process. It sucks working in the garage when it's 20* the new cheap heater sucks. at least I dident have to pull the exh down for the CV shaft. Sunday I spent in bed sick woke up sick again today called off work and just woke up again about an hour ago. I wanted to get my new toy from work this weekend but this damn cold has me whipped. I picked up a 88 jeep wrangler from a couple that needed to dump it quick becasue he is getting transfered. 1k is a dang good price for a jeep that has a 2 year old engine that still under warrenty $800 worth of new tires a new soft top and a new set of seats with console. It needs a little TLC but It runs real well now that the float is installed correctly. lol.

Didn't get as much as I wanted done. I made an EGR blockoff for my TPI setup and I fixed all the picture linking problems...

Re: What did you get done? 12/16

Pulled out all the clooged together electrical mess for the beater radio, traced back to the original wiring diagrams, and installed a radio with 3.5mm aux port for my mp3 player... fixed the fuse box so I can use the 12volt cigarette lighter to charge my phone/ipod...

Got the thing started again - always a plus. lol
