Procomp Distributors

Hi Guys, I need to update my points distributor to a hei unit because i am converting my truck to propane.
I was going to freshen up an original gm unit but upon looking around i can buy a brand new procomp unit for alot cheaper than freshening up the old one , Does anyone have any experience with the procomp hei's ?

Cheers, Marty

Re: Procomp Distributors

I looked into this as well. I figured, you get what you pay for. So I bought a Mallory unit for $100 on Ebay instead. They are new for $144 in summit. I figured, why waste $50 on junk made in china (they say Aussie but I have heard otherwise) maybe yours is authentic Aussie. If you are on a budget why not try...
