I have more sets of the spark plug shields. 05/22/2015


I have some sets of spark plug heat shields and plug wire retainers with brackets for sale. The heat shields were media blasted and re-cadmium plated. The 4 piece set of 2 wire retainers are re-cadmium plated as well as the 2 lower oil pan spark plug retainers. I've included a coil bracket which was media blasted and re-cadmium plated with bolts, and a turbo 350 detent bracket. All the other brackets were media blasted and the ones with spark plug wire holes were also re-coated.

Price is $135.00 each shipped.

Guys, what wire set are you using with these under the exhaust manifolds retainers? Everything I've seen are the shorter over the valve cover type.

Roger, let me know if you put more sets together. I'm looking to correct my current non-original setup.

I can get you a correct date code spark plug wire set for $75.00, or possible a non date code set for $65.00.

I have a 70 Blazer with a 350 and am not running a coil, have an HEI Dist. I was looking for black, thick gauge 8mm, 90 bend cap side and straight or 90 bend plug side, under the exhaust manifold cables.

Am I headed in the right direction? Suggestions?

I would suggest a 8mm custom wire set that you can make yourself. Any of the main manufactures have them.

The spark plug uses a 90 degree bend.

1975 corvette wires are hei and the correct length if you don't want to make custom ones

Roger i have 2 maybe 3 sets of the heat shields & maybe a few of the wirelooms in my stash somewhere if you're interested. They range from very good to fair condition. Will need to be cleaned & blasted of course before cadium plating. PM me if interested. Jamie71Longhorn

Roger, thanks for the wire pointers. Can you post a pic of a set you still have left. Sounds like it is complete minus coil bracket and detent bracket for $105 shipped.
