Hi guys my name is graham durden and ive been on the forum for the last few months soaking in as much info as i can. i feel like doing a build thread would be the best way for me to document my build, ya know to savor the memories in years to come. heres a little history, my truck is a 1972 chevy 4x4, not original 4x4. i got it when i was fifteen years old and am now doing a frameoff rebuild. i am now 20 years old going to an local communtiy college. this is my first major build, so please have patience with me because i am sure i will have a million questions. i am pretty much doing this solo, except when i can convience my gf to help out a lil. so please be patient with me! haha and im workin on the photos

i started tearing it apart a few months ago. i know progress has been really slow, most of yall get it done in like a week or two. but i am mainly working solo and i have been painstakingly labeling EVERYTHING

thanks its my dads dream barn, he spent alot of time designing it. and i absolutly love it, just wish i had enough skills to take advantage of everything in it

That barn is HUGE!!! One of those pics you can barely even see the back side of it. Trucks looking good too! Post all the pictures you have we love to see them.

i don't know what i'm more amazed about... how good the truck looked prior to the tear down, or the size of that barn.

yea the truck looked "good" but i just knew about the issues that always bothered me, even though none else ever noticed. and once the barn got finished i couldnt help but tear into something, and i felt like this project would be more sraitforward, than some of the other projects i got lined up. i guess ill try to get some pics tomorrow of the barn, if thats what you people are really wanting to see.....but hopefully by the end of the build people will be more impressed with the truck not the barn!

ok my question is what is this suspension off, because i know it isnt stock. also it looks like the front spring hanger had been narrowed, any ideas? also what does the stock 4x4 cross member look like because this one either needs to be cleaned up or replaced.
