Summit's price match policy

Any body ever called their bluff on this? long story short...I'm in the market for American Racing TTO's.....I've found two places on the web that has them much cheaper than Summit (Elites-wholesale.com and Extremecustomsllc.com) but I kinda question the legitimacy of those two. maybe I'm being paranoid, but its over $30 a wheel difference. Any suggestions?

Re: Summit's price match policy

All you can do is give them a call and tell them where you found the items you want that are much cheaper and see if they honor that policy.

Keep us posted!

Re: Summit's price match policy

You need to figure in shipping on those other places. Summit only charged a $13 handling fee, shipping is free. I didn't like that every wheel in the size I want is out of stock from ellietes. I would say call Summit and ask them about it.

Nothing to lose, I would rather go with Summit unless there are recommendations on the other two. In my experience, Summit has always had good service.

Re: Summit's price match policy

They make good on the policy. The price must include shipping and has to be in writing. If it's on the web, the CS rep will just go to the site most of the time. Worked for me more than once! They're pretty helpful, I usually do the live chat.

Yep, they matched Jegs on the price of a crate motor. I saved over $200! The rep visited Jegs while I was on the phone to verify the price

Re: Summit's price match policy

i got them to beat a price on headers from AJUSA.com.

AJUSA.com the headers over $100 cheaper and free shipping with no tax. Summit beat the price by a penny and wanted to charge me tax and handling (not shipping), bringing the total back up almost to the regular price.

The service rep told me they can only match the price of the item, not the total price of the sale.
