carb spacers
anyone running one of these? and can you actually say it made a difference in performance?.I am looking at a 1inch on top of my air gap manifold,still looks like plenty of room for the hood clearance.

I have one on most of my trucks, cant really tell any difference in power IMO
But you can gain just a lil bit of a heat barrier by using one made from phenolic |

I had one under my Edelbrock, swapped to a Holley and didn't put it back on. Didn't notice any difference.

They are mainly for final tuning on the dyno. But I have used them to stop the heat soak in holley spread bores that go on a stock maifold.

I put one on my new motor....Edelbrock air gap inyake with an HP650 holley I dont remember how much of a difference it made..

it all depends on the engine combo.... they can add 10+ horses, or just rob you of hood clearance
