trim decal

does anyone know the best way to remove the woodgrain decal on 72 trim?(needs new)

yep heat gun to take the majority of it off then a good whipdown with laquer thinner to take off the residue

I know it's half a$$, but I just pulled the plastic film off the top of old trim and left the wood grain part on the truck and put the new over it. It looks good and has stayed on with no problems.
