Bedside Help? outer/inner

Whats the distance between the inside and outside bed panels? The smallest distance between towards the top? I want to mount my amps on the inside panel and would hate for a screw to go into the outside panel, lol. I've never had one apart so I got no idea.

Refference the space between the cut out gas door & the inner panel, that's approx. whatcha got.
