Need Project Name Ideas.
Hello All,
This is my new project. I have had the truck for about 2 years and have done almost nothing too it. I want to start the project of getting it restored but know little about this. It is a C20 custom Camper, 3/4 Ton. I wanted to convert it to a 1/2 ton, but many friends and people on this forum state that it is better to leave as is. I also wanted to cut the bed, but many also tell me to leave it as is. The engine in it is a 305 or 327 from 1978 from what I get from the block and head numbers. I want to put in at least a 350. Wanted a 400 (which is the original engine) but they are hard to find and those that have it do not want to sell it. Wish me luck.. and I am also needing ideas for a project name. I am not very creative. Please help with ideas...Not sure if I will leave the original color since I want to put the white strip in the middle like the c10's have. |

Re: Need Project Name Ideas.
First of all roj0179 to the best dog gone site on 67-72 Chevy/GMC Trucks on the internet. Glad to have you as part of the family. If you are going to to a resto than you might want to consider the $25 annual fee as then you can ask for parts that you will need to buy (WTB), or parts that you may want to sell (FS), or even what's it worth (WIW) if you have something that you want to sell. You will find parts off this site normally a lot cheaper than ebay or craigslist plus 99% of the sellers here are straight shooters. (Hey were all can't be perfect ) Plus you will find parts here that may be almost impossible to find elsewhere. If you need info this is the place to ask. Either way glad to have you on board. Oh yes...a project name: how about the "Green Leaper or Green Reaper". It's just a thought. I wanted a name that you wouldn't hear that often.
