Exclamation Need heater help ASAP

Okay so I took my heater box out of my 72 c-10 so I could get ready to put my vintage air gen IV kit in. Needless to say I haven't put it in yet so my questions are.. Is there a thread for the step by step install of one of these kits and can I install most of mine to run just the heater for now??

Installing the original stuff is outta the question since idk where the box is.

I still have my original heater under dash right now not hooked up since the firewall box is MIA.
