Its Time Fellas! Im on my way tomorrow!
Well i have been saving up and finally have the funds to get myself an old C10.
No preference on year model except it is going to be 60 to 66 model. I have located a person with 25 trucks for me to take my pick from. The car hauler is sitting in my front yard lol. A friend and are headed out at 4 in the morning. These trucks are all project trucks. However they are pretty much all complete. Im from the mini truck scene. And currently 80% complete with my 3rd mini since highschool over 20 years ago. Its time for old school rods. My buddy owns a 68 f100 his son is building a 52. My brother in law has a 56. So here i am after a few years of hanging out here. Im ready to join in the work and fun folks on here are sharing and having fun. Im in a good place to start with this find and the skills from owning a few builds. Not to mention I have a few willing friends and some in a couple of different truck clubs in my area. Local Finesse & Destrucktion Trucking Crew. So looks like ill be starting a build thread on this thing in a few days. Wish me luck guys/gals. |

This place is only 4 hours from you brother. If yo look at top right corner of the image. Those are burbs and panels. I will have to ask the man if he wants to share the number on here or not. He may not want to get an exploding phone. However, i will ask him if it can be posted or if i can give the number to persons of interest. He does not sell parts. It will be a truck purchase. He wants someone to do restores. Instead of wasting them. Very very hard to get him on the phone also. It almost seems as if he doesnt care to sell. I think he just waits to know if you a for sure buyer or not. It took me calling him and leaving messages. First contact was in november to get an idea of what he had. Then when i finally had the money and was serious. It still took 2 days to get a reply from him. Now it has gotten to the point im showing up tomorrow to buy one. Yes, road trip for me is about 6 hours 1 way. |

Re: Its Time Fellas! Im on my way tomorrow!
i drive 5hrs 1 way everyother weekend to chill with my GF so 6 for a project is doable, make sure take extra $$$$ as this may be your only chance at his stash, u might find a second parts truck. i wish you the best and get that title, never dealt with bill of sale. i heard its not that bad to transfer, but im no expert just a truck nut.
