Friendly Hubcap Help......
Found a website last night while searching high and low for the right caps for my project rims.
Anyhow, I called them up today and they have several #CHVC5 in stock. No chrome, but white and silver. I haven't done business with them so I don't know thier track record, but I hope this may help someone out a bit...... http://www.hubcaps.org/chevtruck.html

Re: Friendly Hubcap Help......
Just a friendly suggestion...
I ALMOST waited around and tried to snag these, but I really wanted a painted cap. These look better than another of the other stainless or chrome caps I've seen IMO. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-Che...QQcmdZViewItem

Re: Friendly Hubcap Help......
James,
I was thinking they were a bit high as well, one of the reasons why I didn't pull the trigger on them. But for someone who is looking for that "needle in a haystack" cap, this might be the holy grail! Nate, Yes I am very happy with my purchase. Going to the blasters with them tomorrow then powdercoating!!! Think I narrowed the cap down to #1041 here: http://www.wheelvintiques.com/pdfs/56-61_access_pt2.pdf Little story. When I picked the wheels up from Keith, one of the wheels were different. Then, James (67_C-30) posted last week about picking up 4 15 x 8's as well, but one of them was different. Wouldn't you know it, we had the wheel that the other needed! So right now my rim to James is probably in TN, and he's shipping my rim to me tomorrow. Talk about coincidence!!!! That's why I love this board. Everyone looks out for one another!!!!

Re: Friendly Hubcap Help......
I remember Keith telling me that one rim was different, but I'm glad to hear that you're going to have 5 of the same rims now. I think you make a great choice on #1041, that will look really good. Are you still powdercoating the rims white?
Be sure to post some before, during and after pics... you know how much we love pics!
