Electric wipers
New Brothers sale flyer arrived today.
Electric conversion for wipers. Anyone have any experience with those? For '72 it listed "motor only". ??? Thanks |

Why would you need to 'convert' to electric wipers?

Okay.
The truth is, I heard you were having a contest for the dumbest question of the year award, so thought I would enter. Duh! Actually, I'm so tired of those slow wipers that, when I saw the ad, I figured this would be a fix. Sorry for the dumb-attack. Now someone will probably tell me that there is an electric starter on the truck so I don't have to use that hand crank. Going to go soak my head in used motor oil. Jeesh! |

No need to soak your head in used oil...we'll just give you 10 lashings with a TH400 dip stick if we ever see you at a board meet.

If you want something electric we could also use part of a wiring harness that went to the wipers

the worst thing about having brain-farts is when you can't remember what you did in a certain class to write about what you did if you have school

Hmmm, lashings with an electric dip stick...I like the way you think.
Should we go with 110, or 220? |

Re: Electric wipers
I heard they have a really nice back up vacuum motor now in case your power goes out.
