Lookn' for a Blazer, 70-72

I've been looking for a 1970 thru 1972 K5 Blazer in the Southeast for a couple of years now with no luck. If anyone has any leads let me or my dad (jhow66) know. Thanks.

It's called golf because all the other four letter words were taken.

I thought they didn't make a blazer in 69.

I believe that they didn't make any 2wd blazers in '69, and Jimmys didn't start until '70 as well.

looking in the $4k to $7K range, fairly solid, complete rolling chassis (with or without engine), with in a couple hundred miles of Knoxville, TN. I'm looking to make a nice clean daily driver.

That's my dad above, jhow66. Keep him posted if you guys run across anything.

www.collectorcartrader.com

Try this website. My son is in California, and has located one in San Jose, I believe. I know that is nowhere near you, but the point is that you can tailor your search for specific years, models as well as locations. Give it a try.

Check out Pierce's 71 Jimmy on the sell board. It is solid, with rebuilt V8, a solid top, etc. Right in your price range too!!

I just got off the phone with a local fellow who has a 72 Blazer 4wd, auto, crate 350 with about 22k, 3k on rebuilt auto trans, color is 2000 chevy medium blue metallic; has a roll bar and a complete extra set of axles and drive shafts. He says it had a 327 and he installed a crate 350. Interior was redone; I saw it once for about 5 minutes, and the overall impression is that it looks pretty good. New bushings. Not off roaded by this owner, just local driver. The usual new parts, etc. He wants about 5k.

If you are interested, let me know. I and the Blazer are in Virginia, just off I81/I64, about 325 miles fm Pigeon Forge, so I guess that means about 360 from Knoxville.

I typed this as I was talking on the phone, but you have all the basics as he mentioned them to me. Hope this helps!

Also, he says the bottom outside is undercoated, and that he did same to inside floor.
