i know this has been brought up a million times but i am about to start taking my truck apart and i need to build a cab stand, i am really wanting a rotisserie style stand so i can turn it over and work on it, i am needing something that is easy to work with since i am doing this at school

I really don't think you would need the rotisserie stand to work on your cab. Especially if you have buddies at school to help you flip the cab on its back to work on the bottom. Just make sure you brace it up well before you start flipping it around. I have seen cabs get out of wack by moving them to much and then the doors never fit back on.

Plus, you could save the dollars it would take to build the rotisserie and use that toward your truck.

Not trying to tell you what to do, I just know my simple cab dollie that I built out of 2x4's has served the purpose very well.

someone posted a stand like the 4X4 dollie awhile back I believe you could get measurements from him.

We lay our cabs on their back to do the floor work and then set them on a simple dolly using a skid for spacing the cab up. We install 3"x1" channel onto the outriggers so as to get proper support. Here is a pic of the channels installed.
