Turn signal, Hazards screwed up

I traded around Sat. & wound up with a '93 Chevy Blazer Tahoe LT, 4.3L VORTEC, automatic 2wd. When I turn the marker or headlights on my turn signal indicator's light up on the dash. Also, if I pull the turn signal lever down to go left or push it up to go right the Hazards start flashing. Turn it back and they stop. What could be causing this?

Yep I checked all those first off. I'm going to remove the pigtail for trailer hookup tonight. Thanks for the help.

Well yes & no. I have blinkers now on both sides but the turn signal indicators still light up when I turn the headlights on. I'm going to check into that bulb issue as I've heard that somewhere else but can't remember what it was on.

Re: Turn signal, Hazards screwed up

they look like the same exact bulb just diffrent part number... i think it has to do with how much power it pulls through...
