ECE front disc conversion - brake line

Im looking to do the ECE front disc conversion as part of a 4/6 drop. I've read several threads ans saw a few pictures and I want to get an idea of what all is involved and what tools I will need for the installation of the new brake lines and master cylinder. I don't plan to run a booster.

Does anyone have pics of their setup and coonection. I saw some pictures in the blank slate build thread where they mentioned they ran into some issues.

Re: ECE front disc conversion - brake line

All you need is a good tubing bender and flaring tool.
You will have to make the front line from the "T" on the front crossmember up to the new prop valve.
And you will bend a new line to connect the rear line to the new prop valve.

There were really no issues on Nate's Blank Slate thread.

Yeah everything looked pretty good on his, I think the only issue he mentioned had to do with the prop valve being close to the firewall.

Re: ECE front disc conversion - brake line

Do you plan to rebuild the front end, while you are doing the disc brake conversion?

Yeah. Looks like I can get all new ball joints and inner/outer tie rod ends (Moog) from online for about $120. Sine it's already going to cost $1500 for the 4/6 and disc conversion I might as well drop another $100 while everything is torn apart
