Anybody ever used Crosslink powdercoating in McKinney? They are on CR 407. I just called and was given a price of $250-$300 to get a short frame blasted and coated. I'm only 5 miles from them as apposed to going all the way to Dallas to get it done.

Wow, that seems cheap cheap cheap for a full frame job. I got quoted 25 for blasting and 135 for coating on a pair of upper and lower control arms....guess I need to start calling McKinney!

I don't know about them but be sure and post pics. I live in Wichita Falls and will make a trip to mckinney if they do good work

I stumbled across them. It is a new building and I came across them checking a road one day. I will make a trip down there after work and see what kind of facilities they have and make sure they can handle something this big.

Just thought it was funny to see this thread. I visited Raytheon in McKinney today.

I wonder if they have any other work that you could look at to see what their quality is like?

I'll be checking it out soon as I can. Since being put on 24/7 oncall to transport evacuees, I never know if I am coming or going...

Ok. I was able to get by there today and check out the work. They have an oven that looks to be close to 25 feet long. Saw some of the work. They did the frame and wheels for a motorcycle BLAZE orange. Boy was it bright...
Anyway, he said it would be around $250 for the powder coat and around $150 for the blasting since he contracts it out. Is $400 a decent price??

That sounds more like it and still a good price. I took my Blazer frame and all the suspension parts for blast and powder. I have $550 in sandblasting and powder coating my all my stuff. If I did not do it all at once it would have cost more.
