This weekend was busy for me, but sadly none of it was truck related

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Bought a door for my truck on Friday, get to go pick it up next weekend.
Went to a bachorlette party Saturday night. Was going to swap out the bench seat in my truck today and mount some speakers, but the weather didn't cooperate. |

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Replaced the dash bezel in my 70. Changed out all the lights and the plastic screen while i was at it.
Also replaced the door locking mechanism on the drivers side and only managed to lose 1 bolt which is excellent for me. heh

Got the engine primed (after making my priming tool). Got my clutch hooked up, inner fenders treated for corrosion, and the core support painted. Cant wait to finish my junk.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Went parts looking at local yards yesterday and hit a local swapmeet today and picked up 2 doors for my 67 project. Plus i had to finally lay my old 76 out to pasture, to rusted out for inspection. I will miss the old girl

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
I installed my rear valves, made a couple wiring harnesses for them, and ran some air line. This thing is taking forever but it should be on the road sometime this summer.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Well, absolutely nothing vehicel related except lots of driving. I had to drive up to the northern art of the state and help with my daughter's Jr Prom. I did get to demonstrate to her date how fast I can hog-tie and chain some one to a bumper, if the need should ever arise.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
I managed to mow the grass around my truck lol. These financially troubled times are taking the fun out of having a 454 Hopefully next weekend will bring a new radiator, fixing the butchered under hood wiring, and maybe a joy ride.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Nothing on the truck but I took my 7 year old to Seattle to Watch the Supercross race that was on Saturday. My son is a huge ricky Carmichael fan and he was able to meet Ricky and get his autograph. This made his day. He also got to meet a few others as well. It was a great time for him which made it a great time for dad.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
I got the holes drilled out and the new studs for the upper arm installed after two calls th the GM dealership and a "i dunno if your bolts are even ordered or are ever going to come in." Finished putting the front back together and letting it off the jackstands one week late.
All I have to do still is set the track bar, put the shocks on the rear, and bleed the brakes and I can drive it again. Oh I might have to cut some prings

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Very nice work 67ChevyRedneck! I did a tank install this weekend also, but it was just replacing my in cab tank with a one I got from fellow member EyeH8the24 (Thanks again Travis!) I also pressure washed the chassis painted it with rubberized undercoating and replaced the driveshaft.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
I finally replaced the left window regulator on the truck, nice to be able to roll the window up & down again. Pulled the hood & rt fender off the Camaro to change the evap core and replace the fender. Added power brakes to the Camaro. Pulled one seat out of the boat and tore it apart to find mucho rot in the wood. I also cleaned the garage up a bit.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
I made up the front brake lines and got all the brakes bleed. I got the nose on the 67 and then got the pretty much the cab, bed and nose all lined up. Made up some trans lines. Things have been getting harder to do, I have a shoulder inpingement (basically a pinched tenden in my shoulder) & tennis elbow that started up when I was building the frame and doing a bunch of grinding, this is has been getting worse over the past few weeks. I go in for surgery on 5/10. Ibuprofin helps but certainly is getting old, waking up every night in pain and taking more pills and waiting for an hour for things to ease and then retry and go back to sleep sucks.
