Reverse light help.....
My lights don't work. bulbs are good, fuses are good. Do the lights get activated by a switch in/on the column or from the tranny? any one have a good wiring diagram off the reverse light circuit?? thanks in advance.
and FYI.......... the truck now has a 4l60e trans..... but the lights didn't work before the engine/trans swap.

Re: Reverse light help.....
On the three speed column shift, the switch is near the bottom of the column under the dash. On my truck, the guy converted to floor shift and installed a toggle switch to turn on the reverse lights!!!

Re: Reverse light help.....
the toggle switch crossed my mind, but if the switch is on the column then i should be able to fix it up.

Re: Reverse light help.....
You neutral safety switch needs replaced. 2 screws and its out, it's at the very bottom of your column. Try and start it in gear and if it does the switch is out. If it doesn't then check your connections on the switch.

Re: Reverse light help.....
I just recently got mine working. After making sure the grounds were good the lights still didnt work. Bulbs, fuse, lights, and ground were good. Turns out the prongs that hold the fuse in, were dirty and not getting a good connection. Might be something to look into to
