Stop vent from blowing

I have a 72 cst blazer w/factory ac that is not hooked up due to missing comps. Anyway, I would like to know is there anyway to stop the air from blowing into the truck...I can change the airs direction in the vents, but i want to shut it off completely..Its burning me up here in Houston HELP

i didnt stop the air from blowing but i stopped the heat from coming through the vents on several of my rigs by using a shuttoff valve on one of the heater hoses going to the heater core. can be picked up at napa or other hardware stores. i got one of mine off of an old 2 ton truck. you just leave the valve open in winter and close'er off when it warms up. they work really well for me on the trails when there is not much airflow it sure helps keep it cool.
