Fleetside rear wheel tubs seal ?
Hey, I'm about to reinstall the Rear wheel tubs in my '72 (Blazer) but same as a fleetside truck. Where these sealed at all from the factory between the tub and the bed floor and / or the tub and the inner bedside ?
If so what material was used? Thanks for the help. jeff.

Re: Fleetside rear wheel tubs seal ?
a seam sealer works best, you can use silicone also but do it after you paint the truck if your painting

You can buy seam sealer at eastwood supply or your local body supply shop

I use Dominion. I'm not sure if you guys could get it down there. It is much like factory stuff Doesn't harden completely where it's thicker. They have a few different colors white, light, and dark grey Pops in a caulking gun and is really easy to work with

Re: Fleetside rear wheel tubs seal ?
I used a good seam sealer that I bought from a local ppg store. I'm sure any decent seam sealer fro the auto parts store is fine
