Howdy folks,

I'm new to the board, and in the DFW area. Actually work for "Erl". I'm looking for a truck. I'd prefer a 1/2 ton long fleet, 4 speed, V-8, in restorable condition. This is something I'd like to use as a good reliable work truck, initially, then over time restore. Any of the north Texas folk know of any setting around?

Keep your ear to the ground on the parts board. DFW is probably the most active area on this website. You'll turn one up in a few weeks for sure. Have money and be ready to jump.

For example Matt67350, another DFW guy just bought a running, driving, 71 model 1/2 ton longbed with disc brakes and all for 500 bucks off the board.
