Re: 69-72 GMC Eyebrows
I'll take one of the other two. Naturally,if there is a difference, the one with better chrome (the outer one?). Chrome, not exactly photogenic. I can do a money order.

Re: 69-72 GMC Eyebrows
The problem with reading the last post Tim, is that I figured out you bought the one I wanted over a year ago.

Re: 69-72 GMC Eyebrows
Well, that was only because I missed the N.O.S. one! I'd let you have mine of he would let me have that one . I saw this thread, started reading, got that surge of urgency I'm sure you have felt when you saw a certain part, realized I wasn't sure which side I already had, considered going out and digging to check, then saw that wasn't necessary because I was looking at my answer right in front of me! Pretty funny

Re: 69-72 GMC Eyebrows
Hence, the reason we have all those NOS parts in the shed. We didn't remember we had one, couldn't remember which side we had, or might find another truck to use that on.

Re: 69-72 GMC Eyebrows
Exactly! I never returned a wrong part. Never had a problem buying a part just because I was considering using it and never bothered me when I decided to go another route. I gathered all the trim and interior,as well s other N.O.S. for a Cheyenne Super Custom Camper K/20. I was waiting to restore it until I got a place built to keep it inside. Never got that built, along came divorce, made building new garage out of the question, sold off trucks, ended up with stash of parts worth many times worth what I paid. Oh well, worse things have happened in my life and I'm fine with one little ole shorty and one big ole 4wd...for now! Time to start gathering those older trucks I always wanted. Time to diversify!*
*What was this thread about?

Re: 69-72 GMC Eyebrows
My post was longer before I edited it, but you covered most of what I was thinking.
I have been with the same woman for almost 43 years, she never complains about my addiction, which has let me stay diversified. She has also been very supportive in my business, which has let me be even more diversified and maintain a nice shop. I actually sold all my 67-72 stuff in the late 90's, except my red and white Super and my nos parts. Didn't think I would ever build another. My son in law got me fired back up. Unusual young man, runs the company now, builds an occasional Chevelle or truck and supports my habit. I could possibly be the luckiest guy around. BTW: We drove our El Camino up through your part of the country a few years ago on the way to DC. Question; what has all this to do with 69-72 GMC Eyebrows? Our common interest I suppose.

Re: 69-72 GMC Eyebrows
Maybe one of those eyebrows raised a bit,but I don't think it minds. Maybe this retired parts thread will get moved to general discussion now or converted into a private message. Heck, who else has something to offer to our conversation? I'm sure glad our new friend dragged this thread up. No,not because I'm enjoying this chat. Because it reminded me I have a 1/2 decent eyebrow up in the attic of my secret parts hide away!
You probably forked off of I-70 onto I-270 in Frederick, bout 10 miles shy of me. I'm about 8 miles from the interstate. I've been through Arkansas on I-40 a few times each way. One trip I took a detour north and across the Ozarks. Went through Ozone,I remember that, then ended up on dirt roads for many miles. I loved that country. Looks like you're in a nice area. Reminded me of up home, which is off of I-68 in the very NW tip of MD...Friendsville,MD
