1970 c10 no heat!!!
its a 1970 with no heat at all just bought it. turn on the the fan nothing. it has a/c its not hooked up no belt. it has a 454 swapped into it. I found the line from the manifold to the heater box with the on/off valve on it. i open the valve and it started smoking at the fitting on the heater box on the firewall and the valve itself so i switched it off. any hewlp pwease lol. ill have pics up of what im talking about in a bit

well none of the climate control works at all, i dont even hear a fan kick on. the defrost ducting is off the box. I will get pics in a bit and i dont even get how to work this old school climate control lol but every setting nothing happens

If it smoked at the fitting on the heater box you have troubles.If it was steam(instead of smoke) then it's a bad hose or heater core.If it was smoke you have a bad wiring problem.The switch or the blower motor could be bad.Those are the top things that pop to my mind,though there could be something else going on.
