Electric Fan Connector

I just installed this fan

Does anyone have the part number for the two pin fan connector? I am looking for the other half.

Since it's listed as a Chrysler fan I would look in the junkyard for it.
I would be awful temped to just cut the plug and add my own from the parts house.

How about a Trailer Connectors 2-Contact Flat like this one?

I'd like to stick with the original, it is rated for the current draw. I am guessing the fan runs at 20-25 amps. I could probably put a lot of different connectors on there but if I have to replace the fan then I also would have to change the connector (again), so one and done if I can just find that part number. I don't have access to a parts book for a Grand Cherokee.

what year make model is the fan from?

Ok, that only took three days and ten emails, but here it is. I ordered two since they were low cost and the shipping was the same for one as for two. I don't have it yet so it could turn out to be a POS or not fit. If it is the right one then I can change the fan out quickly with two bolts and the one connector. I like the idea of the kit without wires as I can try to stuff 12 or 10 gauge wire in there. I have the correct ratcheting crimper for the terminals so...Their site is kinda sketchy but I paid with paypal so if there are any problems I'm covered. On to the relay and temp switch set up now.Enjoy

Alrighty then, the connector is the correct one. Check the link above for the vendor. I think I can shove 12 gauge wire in the terminals, I'll solder them also for a good joint. We'll see if they can handle the current....Looking at a PWM controller and also a trinary switch for the AC compressor, so I might be able to add a manual switch for water crossings (off). Enjoy!

that ad shows 18 gauge wire, so good luck getting 12ga in there. maybe dealer has terminals available. I know BMW has most of the terminals available.

As far as trinary switch, what do you need it for, HI pressure cut off or LOW pressure cut off?

I did get 14 gauge in there and ran the fan for 30 min with no heating at the wires so the length must be correct for 14. !2 was definitely not going in that case. The trinary protects in both high and low pressure situations. I like the option of the manual switch in this diagram. I have a PWM fan controller coming so we will see how that manual override can be added to it. I also have the option of controlling a fan through my FI system. The fan swap to electric is a new project that I hadn't really looked at too hard so I'm kinda making this up as I go along. My old clutch fan wasn't going to work since I moved my engine forward for the five speed.
