Does anyone have pictures of a truck with a 2 1/2" front drop and 4" rear?
I am ready to lower my 1970 C10 short bed, but I don't know what it will look like. I want to go with 2 1/2" drop spindles in the front and 4" drop coil in the rear. It would be great if someone could help me out.

When I started my build thread (It’s Just A Pickup) the 72 C10 short box step side had a 2-1/2 inch front and 4 inch rear drop. Hears a link to the pictures http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=318544

There are a whole bunch on here some where, the general consensus is that while it looks better, you're going to want more.
Its just a question of weather you can afford (or are willing to risk going without) to notch the rear and go straight to a 4.5/6. In general people seem happier with the latter. That being said I have all my parts for the former (2.5/4) If you start thinking about bags, I'm the wrong guy to ask, but they cost more... but is the cost more than taking apart your front & rear suspension twice because it isn't quite low enough on the first try? You decide. i found this one in search http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...hlight=2.5%2F4 |

Mine is dropped 2 1/2 inches front, and 4 inches in the rear. It does not sit level, but I like it.

Here's another, with 235 70-15 fronts and 255 70-15 rear.Keep in mind tire selection will make a difference. And the drop you install may not be an actual 2 1/2-4 since the truck is probably already lower than stock from 40 years of drooping.
