Transmission fitment question.

Does anyone know what 5 speed transmission came in a 2005 full size Chevy? I found an ad for a trans but it doesn't say what transmission it is. If it is a NV3500, is there anything different from a mid 90's NV3500 that would not let it fit on my '68? My truck is keeping the 250 I6 engine.

Forgot to say that the ad stated the 2005 truck had a 4.3 v6. I don't know if the newer 4.3's still used the same bolt pattern as a SBC like the older ones did.
