Advice please on lowering

Bet this subject has been beaten to death, however -
72 C10 LWB
Not a "beater" but it is a daily driver. And we do get snow.
I'd like to lower it. Not in the weeds. Would like it to be level.
Don't want to buy new rims or tires.
Here's what I have now.
Rear - Ground to fender is 34"
Top of tire to fender is 8".
Front - Ground to fender is 32 1/2.
Top of tire to fender is 6 1/4".
How far do I lower it, and what is the best way to do it?
Springs, shocks, lowering blocks and dropped spindles confuse my little brain.
Someone just slap me and tell me to "Do this..."

i think it depends on what you want to go, i bet a 2 inch drop in the front and 3 inch in the rear would look good, it would be almost level, i think the rear is 2 inches higher???? you could accomplish a 2-3" drop with springs, probaby the cheapest way to go also

if i were you id do what i did, its free, just take the a frames apart, cut out one coil and reasseble, i put in new control arms and ball joints, but if you dont its a completely free 2.5 inch drop. goodluck, Ben

I cut a ring off the front coils on mine also, but will say that it crowds the front geometry a tad. If you want level, you could do a 2/4 drop with springs, & can probably keep stock lenght shocks. At the rear, you might use a shock relocator kit to stand the shocks back up some, & may need an adj panhard bar to center the rear diff after the drop. good luck,crazyL

dropped spindle in front will give 2 1/2 and use stock shock. 4 in spring in rear and dont need c notch. anything lower will require different shocks and c notch.
