front flex brake lines?? Need direction
I have run the numbers on the calipers and on my new front axle, the front axle is off of an 85 4wd K20, but the calipers are apparently from a 72-78 2wd front axle, I need lines that are almost 24" long, I would rather not swap in calipers, I have already spent way to much on this swap.....any advice or parts numbers would be appreciated, will the 2wd lines work, how long are they, and what size is the fitting that attached to the hard lines?
Also, does anyone have any idea why someone might make this swap?

Just a "WAG" wild a$$ guess.Maybe they were trying to upgrade the axle for 4wheelin and used the original calipers to save a few$$$.You didn't say what this axle was on,but that's the guess I have.

Re: front flex brake lines?? Need direction
The axle was under a jeep, its a corp 10 bolt, if it matters.
But really the issue I am trying to solve is does anyone know where I can get longer 2wd front flex brake lines. Will the connection to the frame be the same on a 2wd and a 4wd? Can anyone get me pics, or at least a general length of their 72 front flex lines.

Re: front flex brake lines?? Need direction
I THINK I have solved the question at hand, I think the 2wd calipers were used so the PO could run 15" wheels (as it is, the calipers have been ground down for clearance).
Anyway, I finally got what I think are the correct lines (72-78 2wd brake lines) but The hard-line portion of the line wraps out toward the wheel, and I need it to bend in toward the frame, can I have these bent in the other direction? (clearance is ok, but the line is now 5" to short).

Re: front flex brake lines?? Need direction
There is a right and left hose, try swapping sides that will turn them in Wagner # is F80000 for Right side, F80004 for the left side

Re: front flex brake lines?? Need direction
Another thought on the brake lines is 4X4 parts. They are a parst store for 4wd and carry lots of special brake lines for lifted trucks. There may be other 4 wheel drive specialist who do also depending on who is in your area.
