door adjustment
i need to slide my door a little foward. i finished doing some work and noticed i had worked it back in the doorway a bit. looking at moving it back towards the front about an eighth of an inch.
any tips? i figure i should adjust it where the hinge bolts to the cab. should i start with the top hinge first? thanks for any advice. |

Ive had fair luck loosening all the bolts except one on the top one on the bottom and sliding the door around from there. Just mark where it is now so you can see what youve done and can go back to square one if it gets all higgly piggly.

I hope you either have your fenders off or the handy, dandy special wrench for that job . . . .

A Chevy dealer with a pack-rat in the service department. It was exclusive to these trucks, I think.

It's in the Service Manual. If no one does earlier, I'll try to scan an image this weekend and post it.
