standard swap..clutch linkages

So Im going to start collecting parts soon to to a 5 spd standard swap in the 69 halfton.

its got a a pi$$ed of 383 stroker in it, so I'm going to want something that i can bang shift around pretty easily.

I dont have a question about the transmission, but rather the clutch, more specifically clutch linkages.

would the pedal assemby & linkage out of a 73-87 cab (specially a 1 ton) fit in under the dash of my truck? (I'm geussing not, my truck was also an automatic from the factory.. might make a difference.)

has anybody had an experience powershifting with a hydraulic clutch setup? are they sluggish? tough pedal?

maybe if i put oversize fittings and lines I'd have less flow resistance in the system?

Re: standard swap..clutch linkages

You should have a square brake pedal and the clutch pedal from a 67-72 is just a bolt on to your existing assembly.

The hydraulic clutches I've used have been easier to depress than mechanical ones.

in other words, the linkage and pedal assembly from a 73-87 truck would not fit, or work under my dash?
