Air Conditioning, Marker Lights, 67-68 Grille

Selling more parts to help fund my never ending restoration.
All parts located in Chantilly, VA

Brand new marker lights from LMC, never opened, still in packaging #38-1075 LMC sells for $45. Asking $40 shipped.

Air conditioning compressor and brackets $80 plus shipping (heavy) for what is pictured.
I also have all the rest of the stock A/C system for a 72 truck. If you are interested in any of that, let me know.

67-68 Grille Looks solid with no rust through. Black paint is in good condition. Looks like someone put the parking lights on top instead of the bottom, not sure if this is a problem for anyone. $175 prefer local pickup

Re: Air Conditioning, Marker Lights, 67-68 Grille

give me the total measurements on the lights and a pic wihout the plastic and they are sold...

If you don't want to open them that's ok... are they very close to the original Yankee 77 lights?

Blue-71,
Yes I do believe so, and some as you can see in the pic are still mounted to the compressor. Please someone correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Air Conditioning, Marker Lights, 67-68 Grille

what are the measurements of each light? I have been looking at the set in LMC just want to be sure that they will fill the holes in my cab.

Total L x W x H will work... thanks

Rust Buster:

Yes that's it. Does the cannister hold vacuum and if so could you post a picture and a price mailed to 22727. Or I could swap if you need something. Thanks.

What condition are the trim rings (for the grill) in? Dents, dings?

Re: Air Conditioning, Marker Lights, 67-68 Grille

ok, i'd like to be second in line for the grille if the trim rings are perfect and just need some polishing...and if the cab lights are the correct measurments...

will you take $200 for the grille and lights if I pick them up next month? I would pay now put come through on my way back from AL.

Re: Air Conditioning, Marker Lights, 67-68 Grille

Mike, the cab lights are about 7 3/4" long, 2 1/4" high, and 2 1/4" wide at the widest part. These measurements are minus the gaskets, which of course stick out a little more.

Ridgeback, The A/C wasn't working on the truck when I took it out. I never investigated why, (could just be that it needed a charge) so I don't know if it holds vaccuum. Is it #18 on page 123 here http://www.lmctruck.com/ICATALOG/CB/full.aspx?Page=123
Let me know. If you are interested, I'll sell it for $12 shipped.

Pound41, I'll take $200 plus shipping for the entire system (we'll get on the same page and make sure you are getting everything you think you are getting. Shipping might be high though depending on what is included.

Blue 71, UPS tells me shipping will be $17.

Mike,
If I find the trim rings, and if Grendel passes, I'll take you up on that offer.

Thank!

Re: Air Conditioning, Marker Lights, 67-68 Grille

oops, I'm not. I thought you guys were asking about the headlight trim rings, but now that I get my foot out of my mouth and re-read the post from Grendel, it all makes sense.
I'll go check them out again and post some better picks of them.

Re: Air Conditioning, Marker Lights, 67-68 Grille

Yes number 18 in the illustration. I am interested if the unit holds vacuum. Do you have a hand held vac pump to test it? Plug the little outlet and pull a vacuum on the big outlet and see if it holds the vacuum. Thanks.

Re: Air Conditioning, Marker Lights, 67-68 Grille

Hey now, no picking on the Air FArce guy...

Mike,Grendel,
The trim rings are in decent shape. There are some small dings, maybe 5 of them no bigger than the eraser end of a pencil. I tried to take some decent pictures, but it was hard. Let me know.

tkeduk8r, if Blue_71 passes, I'll let you know and we can work something out.

Thanks

Re: Air Conditioning, Marker Lights, 67-68 Grille

Grendel,
I'd like to keep the grille and trim rings together as a package.
Yeah, been a long week, I can't see straight, let alone keep track of all this... sorry. You all must think I am drunk, now that gives me an idea.

Ha ha... yeah you army guys probably don't have air conditioning. Us Air Force guys complain when the cable is out. The grille doesn't look to have any damage. I'll take pics of specific areas you are concerned about. Trim rings come with the grille, just have to find them!
