>>>>>automatic Reverse Switch Question<<<<
Okay, so I was all excited when I got my automatic column cause I knew that It probably come with the column switch for the reverse lamps, well it did, but next to the two terminals for the plug, there is another two terminals. What are those for? Oh and the switch doesn't work, I know it doesn't because when I replugged my pull knob to the back lamps they worked. Can I get this switch from the auto parts store???? thanks guys!!!

In addition to controlling your backup lights, it also prevents you from starting your truck when it is in gear. That is where the name comes from, neutral safety switch. There should be 2 heavy gauge purple wires that go to those terminals. And to answer your other question, yes, the part sould be easy to get at any parts store.
