Put In A Home Grown Wood Floor Today

Well, I finished the $40 wood floor install. Took me most of the day and I still have a couple of little details to finish up. Like cleaning up.

As I posted on another thread, this was left over flooring material (real wood) that was excess from the house-install.
So, if it doesn't last under the tonneau, no big deal.

I'm no finish carpenter. But I know enough to leave a little room for expansion, and to borrow the correct tools.

I'll probably put in some skid-strips so it doesn't get torn up the first time I put a lawn mower in the bed.

If you want to see it in progress, this link goes to a little slide show showing the install.
(On the page in the link, in the upper left, click "fast". Otherwise it's like watching paint dry)

That's my fun for the day.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Thanks for the nod.

Coarsegold's on CA Hwy 41. Fifteen miles south of the south gate of Yosemite.

That looks great! I would have never thought about it. We just finished our house flooring and it's almost a dead match. That is pretty neat, I love it.

You need to market this as a new product. Some one will before it's over.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
