Put In A Home Grown Wood Floor Today
Well, I finished the $40 wood floor install. Took me most of the day and I still have a couple of little details to finish up. Like cleaning up.
As I posted on another thread, this was left over flooring material (real wood) that was excess from the house-install. So, if it doesn't last under the tonneau, no big deal. I'm no finish carpenter. But I know enough to leave a little room for expansion, and to borrow the correct tools. I'll probably put in some skid-strips so it doesn't get torn up the first time I put a lawn mower in the bed. If you want to see it in progress, this link goes to a little slide show showing the install. (On the page in the link, in the upper left, click "fast". Otherwise it's like watching paint dry) http://tinyurl.com/8czblhz That's my fun for the day.

That looks great! I would have never thought about it. We just finished our house flooring and it's almost a dead match. That is pretty neat, I love it.
You need to market this as a new product. Some one will before it's over.
