Hey! What Are You Doing In My House?

Tuesday night about 930pm I was woken up by someone yelling,"HELLO, HELLO, HELLO". My bedroom is upstairs in a big house and this person walked all the way thru my house and walked upstairs. She, 30ish,115#,5'10, ugly walked to my room and yelled again"HELLO" I told her to turn on the light, I was still in bed, and then asked her WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE? WHO ARE YOU? She proceeded to tell me she just had a fight with her boyfriend, BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA ECT.....I told her step out of my room and we'll figure this out. I was putting on my pants and she walked back in, Get out I told her..She waited in the hall and then I escorted her downstairs not before she saw my daughter starring at her from her own room. Do you know her? Yes thats my daughter and now go downstairs. On the way downstairs I told her I was calling the cops and then she high tailed it for the front door, which was locked..he he he. She then ran out on the deck before I could grab her and she left. The police showed up 10min later after they were driving around in the area looking for her, didn't find her...now EVERYTHING around here is locked..A couple of things went thru my mind the next day.

was she working alone?

is she/they coming back?

my daughters eye's the size of basketballs!

did she have a gun in her purse?

all worked out well, so need to 2nd guess what if's..

I'm afraid I would have detained her at gunpoint. You walk in "my" house in the middle of the night, and you are going to be looking at the floor with a large caliber barrel in your back....

Sorry to here it though. I know you are probably pretty freaked right now...

If some strange person walked into my house ... wandered around ... then popped into my bedroom, they wouldn't be "hi-tailing" it out only to have the cops show up 10 minutes later and then not being able to find them.

They would find them exactly where I dropped them.

Sorry to hear about this ... I know it HAD to freak you out ... it FREAKED me out just reading it.

the click of the saftey would probably have stopped them in their tracks. if that didnt, the bang sure would. The cops would be sorting through that mess and the coroner would be pullin out of the yard.

Glad everything turned out good and safe.

Nothing quite like the sound of a pump 12ga. when you're putting one in the chamber. That sound alone is almost as bad as the bang! Ohhhhh....the anticipation. Glad to hear you and your family got out of the situation safely. You Feelin Lucky Today, Punk?

The group that broke into my house, between 5:30 and 9:00 pm, was a led by a person of the female persuasion. She is now in the city jailhouse! I picked up a burgular alarm quick that calls mine, my wifes, bro inlaws cell #'s when motion is detected in the house. Not gonna happen again without someone gettin hurt! Yours was working her way to the bedroom for money, jewelry, guns, etc. Gotta watch your s#!t or you will loose it!

Slowly getting stuff back. Two out of five guitars so far, digital camera, five antique cameras. I'm taking it as a lesson learned. I have installed a simple alarm system that is working excellent:

http://www.x10.com/security/x10_ds7000.htm

My wife has tripped it of a few times. I get called instantly, and can listen into the house to hear what is going on. I also installed one of thier motion sensors over the back drive that turns on a light in my bedroom. Now if anyone is messing around our vehicles out back I can catch em in the act .

Regarding the alarm link above. Just signed off and recieved popup ads!! I must have been lucky, never had ads popup at sign off. Had to clear them out of my temp files! Sorry for any inconvenience.

Anyway, they make a great alarm system. X10 Protector Plus.

this inssures a sh1t an git exit. Winchester defender 3" mag 12 ga. straight barrel no choke 18" long 8 shot mag. and that distinctive pump sound as one of the 8 00buck shot shells gets jacked into the chamber. Just imagine the look of fear they would have as they see some hillbilly standing in his underwear in a dark hall way pumping a shell into the chamber and lining the fiber optic sights on his chest. Actually i just bought it because it looks cool and no i don't keep it loaded. Although i don't think the intruder want want to find out if i was bluffing. Sorry to hear about what happened and i hope your little girl isn't to upset over it.

nothing like a drunk crack ho wandering around the house, did she break in or was a door left unlocked. My inlaws would leave there doors unlocked until this happened to them, right in the middle of dinner, my father in law went for his gun and the dude split. A big dog sleeping downstairs and you would have just heard AHHHHHH get this dog off my it's killing me! How did you keep from just wiggin out a slammin the woman against the floor. We had a local break into or hotel room once and my ma chased him out with a bowie knife after she turned on the lights, the guy freaked.

There was a scam in my old neighborhood which was an older neighborhood that was prodominantly hispanic but otherwise very mixed, where a girl would come up to the door asking to use the phone cause her car broke down, or she live's down the street and her baby is sick and she needs to call 911 or what ever excuse she could come up with. What she was actually doing was calling her boys down the street to come rob you. As soon as you have your back turned she would stab you and the guys would come in. This happend to like 3 houses. When she came to our door, I however was not so dumb. This girl was dumb enough to say she lived next door. I knew both my neighbors very well. Plus my neighbors were white on both sides and she was not. I just kept saying "You live next door?" and pointing to my neighbors house, "Right there.....in that house.....this one right here?" She was like, "Yes." So I say "Yeah right, not today." and shut the door. She looked like she was 17 plus she was good looking to, you know thin and "fully developed". I think that's how they get in the door sometimes too.

Wow, that's freaky.
On another note, you texans crack me the hell up. No wonder why you guys have a high execution count. With guys like you on the jury criminals don't have a chance
If I ever go to Texas I'll be sure not to j-walk or something
:p
Should be like that everywhere though.
I remember a couple of occasions that my wife would get me up in the middle of the night and tell me that she heard something. I end up walking through the house with my antique German bayonette. That is a bad ass blade. I have an old Springfield krag that's 98 years old too but no ammo. I know she would fire nicely too, I just had it cleaned up and oiled. Very smooth, probably break my collar bone if I'm not careful
