Question Factory clock?

Did the 67 -72 Trucks ever come with a factory clock in the bezel?. I don't think so but I want to add one.

Talking

They did not come from the factory with a clock but some dealers
installed them. Most used the small round clocks as found on the early Cameros and installed them in the vacant spot of the gauge
dash. My son's 72 Suburban has a dealer installed clock mounted just above the windshield and it looks factory, but it is a Camero clock, also.

Thanks. I'll probably go with the Camaro clock too!

What a great debate - did they come from the factory or not? Some say yes, but only in Canada, others say no - they were installed by dealers - here's a shot of mine, I purchased this complete dash assembly from a guy that sells them on Ebay. It's a quartz clock from the Camaro and a 7 K Tach

I'm pretty sure the clock in that picture came from a mid 80's chevy truck. I had an 86 that was a complete piece of sh!t and I believe when I sold it that clock was the only thing that had not given me problems. lol FYI those clocks "tick" VERY loud. If your a lite sleeper you would never sleep a wink in a truck with one of those clocks.

Besides hunting them down at a junkyard, does anyone out there know where a guy could buy the Tach and clock from the camaros Longhornmail mentioned??

Maybe a camaro website or aftermarket stuff??

That is a really nice looking cluster....

Here's Boomer85's current auction list - he doesn't have any 7K tach/clock bezels on it, but there's a buttload of other "candy" over there. He does have a new bezel without guages for our trucks.

He custom built mine for me & will probably do the same for any of you guys.
