1971 4x4 blazer parts
Just picked up two 1971/72 4x4 blazers. I've only got one home so far but it was filled to the top with parts stripped off a third low mile blazer. I will start with a short list of parts and pictures and add more or start a new thread as I pull parts and get the second blazer home. I would like to keep the body shell and drivetrain complete on the first one, but will be parting the shell and running gear on the second one. One has a single wall top and one has the double wall. Please reply in thread. I will update order and sold status at the top of the thread. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: 1971 4x4 blazer parts
hey Dennis, does this blazer have the part on the a/c that holds up the vacuum canister? Also, I am interested in a manual 4x4 large hump (prefer 1970), and rear bumper brackets from a blazer. Trevor

Does this mean that you're selling this ochre colored truck as a roller?

Re: 1971 4x4 blazer parts
Hi Trevor, Not sure on the A.C. part. If it's the plastic canister it's bolted right to the housing. I will check the second blazer when I get it home. It also has the 4 speed hump you are after. I will put you first in line on it. There were bumper brackets in the deal, but I'm not sure what the blazer ones look like compared to truck 4x4.
1949gmc: I have local interest in the roller, but if it doesn't sell I will be listing it on the Board. Thanks, Sharpie |

Re: 1971 4x4 blazer parts
Dennis, thanks for getting back with me. There should be a little curved, almost angle iron looking piece that the plastic canister is bolted to, and then that is bolted to the a/c fiberglass housing. I am looking for that bracket. Also, I will see about finding you a pic of rear bumper brackets for me. They have a extra brace welded or rivited to the inside of them. Kinda fugly looking, but that's what I am looking for as well. The hump I am looking for, I think has the transfer case hole more centered than off to the side. I am needing it for a 70' swb that I picked up recently. Someone screwed a 73+ style hump to the floor. I need to change cabs anyway, but I would like to find a correct hump. I am going yarding on Friday, so it might be put on hold until I see if I find something local hump wise. Trevor

Eric, I only have Warns available now. I will put you first in line if the second blazer has factory hubs. Sharpie

Hi Trevor, the 4 speed blazer was the low miler that got stripped. There are more parts to come with the second one. I will let you know if there is a chrome 465. Sharpie

Re: 1971 4x4 blazer parts
Are you breaking the tub down? I need a drivers bed side and 6" of rear floor with cross member. I wonder what freight would be... intrested though.

How about the filler neck from the gas tank? Rear carpet strip back near the tailgate?

I will let you know when I get the second blazer home and check it over. The drivers bedside on this one has previous bodywork. Sharpie

Sounds good, If the body damage isn't really bad (I can't really tell in the picture). Still very intrested in either one. Thanks

Re: 1971 4x4 blazer parts
How bad is the rear strip? As long as it's fairly straight and solid I don't care about the chrome. I just need it to hold the seal in place. I could also use the two vertical pieces that hold the tailgate seal as well.
