The Kraken
Hey everyone, so here's the next beast on the block. A 59 GMC big window short stepper. This baby is as solid as they come. When I found the ol girl it reminded me of something from the swamp thing movie. The client I'm building it for is in the film industry and so I was trying to think of an appropriate name for it. The wife brought home a bottle of Rum for a friends birthday and I got reading the back of the label. It read "Strong, rich, black and smooth". Perfect, so I proudly give you The Kraken.

Re: The Kraken
That's a really cool looking project your going to start. I like that bottle. I collect bottles and wonder where I could get one of those?

It's for sale locally in Burbank all over the place. Maybe you can order it online. The stuff goes great with Dr. Pepper. LOL.

Re: The Kraken
WOW she cleaned up nice! She looked really scurry before...haha
Was that cobb webs holding the tree crap on her? If so, I would have passed on her. I don't do well with spiders at all. Great find, can't wait to see what you come up with. I've had Kraken before...not bad at all!

Awesome. Please say you'll leave the paint alone. That truck is just too cool.

Leave it to Delmo to find the coolest trucks around, even when they are living (litterally).

Re: The Kraken
Yep she is stayin O.G. as far as paint goes. It's funny what you can find sitting under trees around here. And I've found Kraken sounds way cooler if you say it like a pitare. LOL

Nice looking truck, just when I thought barnfinds are a thing of the past , you come up with a treasure like that. Is it going to be along the same lines as Jackalope? that was a killer build

Re: The Kraken
Release the Kraken!!
That is a NICE, solid truck. I was shocked at how well it cleaned up. With a nice suspension and an LS motor, it will be a great driver. I'll stay tuned for this one!!
