Firewall holes?
Does anyone have a pic of a firewall with a description of what each hole is for? I want to get rid of the ones I don't need but I'm not sure what goes whereas mine was pretty much stripped when I got it. I thought there was one floating around the site somewhere but i can't seem to find it now. TIA

Re: Firewall holes?
I have weird truck!!! Joesjunk, was here and noticed it. The clutch hole is lower, like down on the other flat part. I'm not sure if its a V6 thing or what. Its on a 67 GMC, and its a factory hole. I'll try to get a pic Sat

Re: Firewall holes?
I posted about that a few years ago... durring my caddy conversion. My old 69 GMC had the clutch hole down there too, I had done a poll, and IIRC, the GMCs were the only ones like that, but not all of them.
Let me see if I can find a pic |

Re: Firewall holes?
mine was originally a 305 v 6, automatic... I am assuming Th400, but it coulda been a TH350 beng they came out in 69 for the trucks (m49 on the SPID)
Another oddity on that truck, it had the high hump floor. The only thing I could come up with on that was the V-6 1/2 tons with autos got the high hump. Never came acros another v6 auto 1/2 ton to compair it to though. I know the hump was original too, it had the original one year only maroon paint on it. |

Re: Firewall holes?
Mine has a automatic, never really looked to see what type. No high hump in it. These are some strange trucks !!! 67 with a 351 and automatic and in a half ton. Most V6's I've seen are 3/4. That clutch hole is strange
