it gave up the ghost

i finally got the motor out and apart. i found the piece that decided that it no longer wanted to be in my motor. so now i have a cracked block and everything in the bottom end is now junk. i think i see something from gm performance in my future.

now its time to clean everything under the hood and get the body ready for paint.

ohhh the one good thing is i found out my headers are polished aluminum

3 days after this went down i get my new hood latch in the mail. ohh well

Uhmmmmm...... That's not right. I don't believe engine components are supposed to be self customizing.

My brother-in-law showed up in Baton Rouge, La wearing the "gator" colors....and was surprised at the hostility.

Re: it gave up the ghost

Sell it as "modern art" or better yet market it as the new transformer connecting rod
