May be joining you guys :D

I just drove by a truck that I haven't seen move in two years. When I first saw it I wasn't too into the 67-72 trucks, but time has gone by .

I dont have pictures, but I just thought I would say I might have a third truck xD (@ 17y.o.) I haven't got to check it out yet, but its worth a try. Looks to be a 69-72 (havent seen the grille) SWB SS looks like the body is straight, its a C-10. Exactly what I wanted when I first saw these trucks. I am going to have to get pictures for you guys, and ask a few more questions.

If it hasnt moved in two years, then lowball them and you just might get lucky...You will probly be told here to become a subscriber to ask what its worth... or what kind of offer to make. If it doesnt work out for you let me know where its at and I will check it out

No problem asking what it's worth or what to offer as long as he's buying it and not selling it....

Re: May be joining you guys :D

When I bought my 72 I paid 950 or so for registration fees 3 yrs old I believe
and to bring it current to that date... On my 67 It was over 6 years since it was tagged so the DMV drops it from the system and I paid less than $100 and I had to have the vin number verified on the door jamb and the truck weighed to make sure it was a half ton... Its almost worth letting it sit for a while if you can to save that money if you ask me
Isnt it great to be in California !!!

Re: May be joining you guys :D

Sure, as long as it ends up in good hands and not in a scrap yard

Re: May be joining you guys :D

I would try to give stuff away before I scrapped anything. I made a trailer out of a 72 c20 that was mangled up front. Nobody wanted the bed so I sold what I could and am the happy owner of a longbed trailer. When it comes to these trucks, someone out there needs what you think might be junk.

If you get it, don't ask a few more questions, ask lotsa questions.

The knowledge on this board is nothing short of phenomenal.

CG.. I agree with you on that. That is one of the most retarded laws. Turns a user fee into a property tax.
