As most of you know I'm a hug fan of original paint. I bought this truck last year, and it was a very well cared for original owner truck. It looked nice when I got it. But yesterday I finally waxed it. 100% original paint.

Very nice! I like that it still has the unique to 71 black grille surround stripe on the outer shell.

I sure do love an original paint truck. I love it even better on a clean original C/20, better than that on one that's a Cheyenne with aluminum slots. It's got the look and never lost it. I wondered if that was dealer stickers on the fender.

Thanks, I have always wanted to put slots on one of these trucks. I like them, but still torn between them and white wheels and hub caps

When you took the big mirrors off did you put some sort of smooth plug over the holes? I love the mags on it and was surprised when you used them.

I would have never changed the mirrors on an original paint truck like this, but unfortunately the original owner had already drilled several holes in the doors. I really didn't like the mirrors that came on it, so I measured and the small mirrors covered up the upper holes. Since there was already holes drilled in the doors I figured I could get away with 2 more. I used stainless cap screws in all the holes. That's about the best solution I could come up with.

Yes, 16.5 x 8.25. The tires are 9.50 x 16.5

Very Nice! I have a 100% original paint 70 Longhorn in Hugger orange. While she isn't quite like yours she is pretty close. I have original caps on original split rims but I recently put on a set of vintage slots to change things up and I like it!
