New pics
I know it's not a truck but a bunch of members who PM'ed me recently wanted to see the Chevelle, I am sorry if this is the wrong forum and place to post them. Anyhoo, here:
Truck pic, it looked lonely

Re: New pics
Very cool! I just took a pic of a chevelle ss EXACTLY like that on my phone when i saw it sitting at the bar. I set it as my background and just opened it up to see that the differences are hood pins and front tags. And your truck is sweet too!

Re: New pics
What?!? A Red 1970 Chevelle SS with black stripes and a 396? I've never seen that before. (just kidding - that is probably THE most popular color/engine combination for that body)
I have a 1971 and a 1972. After my truck is done I'm going to do a frame-off on the 72. After that, if I'm still under 50, I'm going to do the 71. Nice car by the way.

I was going to paint it a different color (astro blue, silver) when my dad of all people said I would be foolish if I did not paint it red If you knew my dad this would suprise everyone....so on went the red. That's one thing I did not do, is pull the body off the frame but I would be very picky where and when I drove it. I do drive it, and when I do it's not too easy sometimes, in other words not ready yet to do that. Thanks everyone, again that means allot to me to hear.

Re: New pics
67 are my favorite with 66 a close second and 70's will always be right after. I always liked 71/72 rear bumpers and thought a 70 frt clip with 71/72 rear clip would have looked nice.
Your driveway is a wish list for a lot of your neighbors or driveby'ers I can assure you.

Re: New pics
I might catch some crap for this, but I'd trade a truck in similar condition in a heartbeat for that Chevelle. I'm a hot rod/musclecar guy first, truck guy second.
