Help a guy out. Selling PRISTINE Ford tailgate
I know this is a Chevy forum but I ask you, my brothers to help me find someone who needs this. It is a pristine, original paint 1970-72 Ford tailgate. It was apparently removed and stored soon after truck was new and I happened on it quite by accident. It apparently had a woodgrain trim badge on it that has been removed but the tailgate it incredible. The reason I am asking you guys is we all have friends who have old Fords and I thought one of you may have a buddy who would really like to get this piece. I want $350 and you guys know as well as I that is very reasonable! I would like to not have to ship this but am negotiable on this point. For OEM steel by Ford? I wished it was Chevy and you guys would be fighting! It has a real small dent on back near top but the original paint on back side, well see for yourself. If you know of someone, turn them onto this. Thanks! Don

Try googling for ford forums to find a bigger audience.
I've had a lot of fords (hence the lower case ) and that puppy will go fast in the right forum... |

i'm shooting trap sunday morning with a father/son pair of Ford fanatics. I will pass the word.
the son is into diesel swaps and restoring - so he might be very interested.

nobolt, I thought for sure you were gonna say you would love to use that F#*d tailgate for target pratice. J/K guys that thing is nice and should bring good $$ they are just as hard to find in that shape as Chevy/GMC, and there are guys doing those trucks. Matter of fact my buddy sold one as nice as that for the same $ at the Big 3 in SD last year.

Heated tailgates were popular on F#*ds to keep the guys hands warm in the winter while pushing them.....
