WTB - 71-72 205 Shifter

Need a 205 shifter for my 72 K5. Minimal pitting or blems. Prefer chrome, but a black one in good shape will do. NOT looking for a knob at this point. Just the shifter.

Thanks!

Re: WTB - 71-72 205 Shifter

I have a 72 205 chrome shifter & knob. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Re: WTB - 71-72 205 Shifter

These are all 71-72 t/c shifters, two levers are black one of which has been drilled and had a grease zerk installed, the other one is an OE chrome lever pulled from a 72 CST blazer. Cost would be $50. on either of the painted levers and $75. on the chrome one. Mel

If you want a new GM greasable t/c shift lever pivot/shoulder bolt, bushing and zerk, I still have some sets available from this old thread link: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=251225

If you have extras of those greaseable bolts I would be interested in one if it is the correct tread. I knot the chevy 205s had small bolts and big bolts 3/8 and 1/2 tread size

Yes, I have some available in the linked thread that you quoted in your above reply, also the OE bolts were not 3/8 or 1/2, the early ones were 7/16 NC and the later type was 9/16 NC. Mel
