Tow Hooks

NEW PRICE........ Cash Only no trades at this time. $360.00 shipped.........

I got these to use on my truck but I decided not to use them because My truck is a 70 and I didn't want all of you laughing at me for useing wrong year of hooks!
Just kidding on that.
Anyhow I am not going to use them I would like to get $360.00 shipped.
Would consider partial trades for some Aluminum slots 15x10 6 bolt.
They are in Great shape, will include 4 nuts, bolts and lock washers that are oem. Two of the nuts are boogered 1 bad and the other not bad. The bad nuts are on the bottom in pic. The bolt head has the Grade marking with an M in the center. The rod is a non GM part and is not included unless buyer really wants it bad. I can also Media blast them also.
Thanks for looking
Ron

The hooks offered FS in this thread are 72's, here's an Id picture showing the three different types available for the 67-72 vintage GM trucks. Mel

Re: Tow Hooks

Husker, I have some 15x8 American Racing Wheels never taken out of the box. Would 8's work ? They look like the factory slotted aluminum mag but are 8" wide. Mike.

Re: Tow Hooks

Mike I already have 2 sets of 8.5"', I like the look of 10"s. 72 Longbed I think I will hold out a little longer.
To the folks who think I am being totally unreasonable on these do a little research. These make for great trade bait or even getting prices like this is not out of the Norm. It is what it is.

Good deal Ron, the hook market seems to be holding just fine on e-bay. Four sets have ended in the last week (See below link) all over $400., with two of the four sets being the easier to find 69-72 flavor. I finally ended up with a set of these myself just a few days ago after searching for all these years. I was thinking about throwing them on there with a buy-it-now option added to the listing. Mel

Re: Tow Hooks

Ron,The worst thing about eBay prices is the dang fees for listing, pictures, final sale fee and required paypal fees thrown in and you still got about $365 net? I know it's a great way to see high prices for our parts but then too the guy at the swap meet always wants the going eBay prices for his items and wont budge even though it's green cash in hand and carry off with no shipping hassles too. The way of the world these days. Good sale for you and I was tempted again here. Mark
