My 69
So I got this 69 awhile back, and didnt do much work on it for the first month or so, but now I have been working on it everyday for the past couple weeks. Cleaning the engine, new exhaust system, touching up some paint spots, added a new stereo(Classic Autosound) and 2 6x9 Kicker KS speakers..more to be done soon with some rims and lowering a bit....

Re: My 69
If anyone has any ideas on things I could do, such as exhaust tip? A way to put speakers in the front right now they are under the seat since the tank is behind the seat. Anything will be helpful..Thanks!

Re: My 69
Thats a nice one! Great color too, any idea what it is?
As for the exhaust, LMC sells a dual kit made by heart throb. You can get it with tail pipes that exite behind the wheels or out the rear. Pretty popular set up, and about the cheapest. I see you have a new system already though, is it single or dual? Either way, I wouldn't put a shiny tip on it, but thats my opinion. For speakers, there are a couple companies that sell kick panel pods that allow you to put 6.5" speakers, down in front. Hope that helps, like the shepard too, have an 8 year old female.

Most of the sponsers here, LMC, Brothers, The Truck shop, all carry the kick pnales. Most are loaded with speakers already.

Re: My 69
WELCOME!!!
Look under the dash on either side. There may be room to mount a speaker each side facing down.Unless you hack something there is not a real "good" spot to put speakers.

Re: My 69
Very nice truck. Actually, I believe the dog is scratching his side. Never saw a dog go on 3 legs unless that is all they had.

Re: My 69
More pics to come, but Painted the firewall, Cleaned up some gunk and build up on the intake and under the truck. Soon to be putting a undercoat on to help protect the underbody and fill some nooks and crannys. Doing some touch up paint work on the inside. Finding some rattles to be fixed. Cleaning up some of the wiring. Been a bit busy latley with school and work daily.

Re: My 69
The color looks like it might be the very seldom seen Turquoise Blue Poly. If it is then this truck is my truck's twin... even though one of the previous owners of mine painted over most of it.
