Need someone to rebuild my seat belts...

I have a set of seatbelts that I want "restored". I essentially need new belts put on the latches and tabs. And I need a few plastic pieces dyed to match. Anyone on this forum do this kinda work? Or do you happen to know someone who does? Just looking for someone to do good work and not charge me an arm and a leg. Thanks for any info.

Did you ever have any luck with Cheyenne Superman? I'm thinking you go tin touch with him, didn't you?

I know I got a quote from him on a full set of lap belts, including center belts, in Dark Olive for $250, but I've never pulled the trigger, and that was almost a year ago.

I was going to post a link to his website, but it appears to no longer be active.

Because I KNOW there are guys out there that rebuilt them. And they do a great job. I just don't know them. And I like to shop around for the best deal vs. quality. Plus my seatbelts aren't just the factory lap belts. They are the factory shoulder belts too.

Re: Need someone to rebuild my seat belts...

I was referred to a guy with a great reputation, I'd seen some of his work, and when I talked to him, he would no longer do seat belts. Guess why...yep, it was a "liability" issue. Thank you friendly Government!!

What all was involved in rebuilding your set? Does he use new 'belt'?

Those white belts are rad! I wonder how they would look in a blue interior?

Re: Need someone to rebuild my seat belts...

ssnake-oil did mine.

I was very happy with the results. Tags were cleaned and reused, anchors and housing rechromed, buckles powdercoated, new webbing. They send you several color webbing samples and you pick the color you want. Good communication and professional.
