Just picked up a 1969 C20, longbed, 2wd, 396.
1969 Chevy C20 (Me and my father's project truck) 3/4 ton, 2wd, longbed, 3 gas tanks, 3 speed turbo 400 (i believe), no major rust, has everything but the AC has been removed. V8 396 with quadajet carb, msd wires, and distributor with the coil on top. Haven't finished tuning her up but so far she runs great. Fires up right away with no problems. Carb had a lil hesitation at first but has started to go away the more it is driven. Alightment is good, shifts good, seems like all the gauges are working properly. To do: Basic tune up, shocks, tires, hoses, etc. Will prob look into tuning the carb and a 4 speed trans before body work. Thank you for your time. |
